Providing college preparatory skills for Connecticut's veterans
Veterans Upward Bound Program (VUB)
No other organization provides the coordinated educational and personal support services that VUB can!
VUB Is a newly awarded federally funded TRIO program from the U.S. Department of Education. This funding allows our team to provide free services to eligible Connecticut veterans.
VUB is different in that we serve first-generation college students, low-income students, and students identified as academically “at risk”.
- Are you a veteran looking to make a career switch but think college is out of the question for you?
- Do you have military experience but are unsure how to apply that in to a civilian workplace?
- Was high school the last time you were in a classroom and you feel too removed from academics?
- Did you start your degree, but its been over five years and you're not sure how to pick back up?
- You want a degree but finances are holding you back from applying?
Our team is here to assist veterans in the development of academic skills necessary for acceptance and success in their pursuit of postsecondary education. We are here to help you become college-ready and support you from the application process through the completion of your degree.
We want to help you!
